Buford High School is a great school if you are looking to push your mind and learn what you want to do in life. It has really good teachers, and all of them push you to be the best person you can be. The classes are many, and while they might not prepare you for everyday life, they train you very well in the places you want to pursue for your career goals later in the future. Sometimes it feels like there aren't as many clubs for people who don't want to do big things like conventions at the end of the year, but that's kind of normal for high schools, I think. The class rank is VERY competitive, but it helps motivate.

i've been in buford for a long time and i dont regret the day i was placed into buford because i was able to meet so many teachers that prepared me for my future and many friends in which several of them i still talk to even to this day. a lot of the clubs ive been in have been engaging and i made so many memories and theyve truly brought so much fun into my life, especially hosa and nhs. i love the classes here too since the teachers encourage me to keep learning and to keep doing my best even if there are times when it can be difficult. i will say though, some of the things i hope for improvement is it can be a bit strict sometimes, especially with dress code, but overall it was never something that bothered me a lot.

Buford High School provided both my children with excellent education, athletics, and performing arts opportunities. They were both fully prepared for college and ready to take on the world.

this school does not care about its students unless they are athletes or on the honor roll. they make so many children feel like idiots and it was an awful thing to experience. I dealt with bullying for years that was overlooked by everyone.

We started in this school system when my student was in 1st grade. Loved the community feel, the environment and the teachers. As the school got bigger, the luster of it started to fade. It became less about the student achievement and more about the athletic achievements. Grades were posted and sha...

The school focuses on white upper middle class kids. There are no supports for any kid that is different. Instruction is lectures and quizzes and tests. Kids have to do all the work themselves to get help if they struggle at all. Teachers are nice but inflexible. Standards and expectations are diffe...
