It is a great school with many opportunities to get involved in the community. The facility is clean and the teachers are nice.

They focus mostly on the ESOL program and direct a lot of their resources to the kids that come from underprivileged homes. While that is fine they need to also put as much effort into the gifted program. They teach to ensure their test scores are good they don't teach the student how to "think" or problem solve ... they don't challenge them. The lunches are poor. I used to think Buford was top notch as far as education but now I think it's all smoke and mirrors.. the new highschool says it all. That money should've gone towards the kids not their image... there is no baseball program for the boys just the girls. The whole system needs a serious overhaul in my opinion. Niche grade is way off.

I like the school itself because of how clean and organized it is. My main problem is the administration because they don't really care about students just the schools reputation.

My son has been a student from K-6 so far. We have been to Elementary, Academy, Senior Academy, and now Middle school. We've had some issues over the years, but they've all been resolved in a timely, effective manner.
