GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Mostly throughout high school at Burgettstown I enjoyed it. I wish our school had more diversity as well as had more teachers care about their diverse students. Sometimes the school isn't transparent with certain things parents should know so that's not great.

I came to Burgettstown High School my junior year, and loved it ever since. I hated my old school and never felt welcomed, but here I do. The teachers are great, the atmosphere is enjoyable, and everyone is friendly.

What I have enjoyed about Burgettstown Area Middle/High School is that the classes are small enough to where I am able to get one on one direction from the teachers. The teachers at Burgettstown are also very kind and are willing to help you so you can succeed. The only thing that I do not like about Burgettstown is that there is hardly any diversity and I do wish that there was more.

Very poor in all aspects from teaching to administration. Avoid at all costs, your children's future depends on their education.

School isn't great at all. It is a small town and a lot of small town politics are reflected in this district. Lots of families leave this district. Drug problems are somewhat common as well. Not diverse. Teachers are for the most part not great, though you will find the occasional gem. This school...
