I have had a very good experience at Byron Nelson. All of my teachers care significantly about their students. However I have had a little bit of a negative experience with the coaches. Some of the coaches will but winning over developing their players and teams.

Byron Nelson High School is a remarkable school in the Northwest Texas school district. School spirit is high, teachers are great, and the academic planning (for college) is heavily emphasized. We have talented sports teams, especially football, and the staff is great. Also, the cafeteria food isn't terrible, so that's a big plus.

The education received is subpar. The school does not partner with the parents. Parents and students have no voice. If you have concerns, they brush you off. I would not recommend this school to anyone looking to buy in the area. Look to surrounding areas like Keller or Southlake or private schools.
