The best part of my high school experience is meeting my old friends, making some new friends, and going to school events like the pep rallies that ASB does. The worst part of my high school experience is that a few years ago, they removed a major part of the classes, which blocked some of the routes students took to get to their classes quickly. The only way to get to that English building and back is to go through the pool area, which takes you a bit farther from the classes, but is less crowded, or to go through the math building area to get closer to your classes, but it is very crowded with people.

My overall experience with Calexico High School has been good. However, I feel like a lot of things were limited due to the fact of not having many resources like some teachers barely having resources. For example, I was supposed to take an engineering class as a CTE however, the class was never made which caused me to not take a CTE. I feel like as long as you take advantage of the opportunities you'll have a good time because there is a lot of AP classes you can take however, not all of them are offered.

I have gone to Calexico High School my 4 years of high school. I have experienced both positive and negative experiences as any regular high school student would. There are a lot of facilities for different resources on campus, for example, academic counseling, career readiness counseling , mental health room, in school psychologist, etc. There is also wide variety of classes to enroll into including CTE's. In the 2021-2022 school year, the school even began to build new buildings for specific subjects (science, math, english, etc.) There are plenty of sweet and caring staff on campus, though there are some that may come off differently. I have personally had a few issues with some staff and teachers, but I don't believe that affects the quality of the school or education given there. As there is construction going on currently, the center of the school is barricaded, meaning we have to go around it to get across campus. There are so many different clubs to join or even start up

Most of the people are very rude, definitely not a friendly nor welcoming environment, overly strict, and do not maintain good standards for the schools education or health organization. Staff and coaches have been reported as bringing negative, un accepting, and manipulative behavior towards the st...
