I really love it at Calumet, I have had a lot of friendships and connections made not just with the students but teachers as well. The only thing I really dislike about Calumet is that because it is so small we don't have the best special ed program. I wish it were a bit more inclusive because it would be more helpful to students with IEP's or 504's, like my sister.

I have thrived in this school environment. We have small classes and everyone is like family and is encouraging when being a having a rough time. From administration to students I have experienced a very positive environment. The school counselor is amazing in helping me to get prepared for college.

We have academic teams and sports teams. The school also recently added a 4-h club.

I am highly disappointed how one of your basketball boys presents himself. Riley Island’s demeanor on the basketball court is way less than stellar on the court. Calumet schools seem to have plenty of funds to support their students now and in the future. Lots of changes coming. I am glad my kids will get to be apart of it all. This community is prospering, who knows what the future will bring.

Calumet has a wonderful school system. The staff and community are so supportive. They are breaking ground for a separate high school.
