This private Christian school, located just north of Calvin Crest Park on Ivanrest Avenue, is ideally situated for middle school students looking for Christian-based education. As part of the Grandville Calvin Christian School (GCCS), comprised of preschool/elementary, middle, and high schools, Calvin Christian Middle School offers unique opportunities including band, theater, choir, virtual arts, robotics and spiritual extracurricular programs.
The Calvin Christian Squires can participate in football, volleyball, tennis, track, and a variety of other sports. Students can also choose to enroll in the Spanish immersion program available from preschool through 10th grade that prepares students for living and working in a multilingual world.
Within the Calvin Christian Middle School, students are organized into six tribes to encourage community, friendships, and teamwork. These tribes help students work toward the Essential 10 expectations and standards outlined by the school. These include loving God, respecting others, and including others.
