GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

People say that CMS is the best option for academics in the area. That might be true, but considering that that area only contains two other middle schools, it's not exactly praise. It's super easy to do well because the standards are so low. "There," "their," and "they're" are toughies here, to sum it all up.

There are very few options for extracurricular activities, which is a pity considering that there's not much going on in the entire county.... One would hope that the school could provide means for escaping the dullness, but it unfortunately does not. Aside from sports teams, there are little to no extracurriculars.

This school provides a family-like environment where each teacher knows everyone. Here students are names, not numbers.
