The school is exactly like the town in which it is built in. The school has always maintained its welcoming atmosphere. The teachers are wonderful and for a small school, the opportunities are absolutely amazing. They range from earning college credits before leaving high school to being certified in a work force field of your interest.

Canaan Schools is a small school system who works hard to with each and every student to ensure the most personalised education possible. If you are looking to tution to a school in the north country I highly recomend CMHS.

The school is locked and you buzz to be let in after being noted who you are. There is a no tolerance bullying policy..we dnt see too much of this here. When flu goes around students are notified to be cautious and take special measures to insure as much sanitation as can be.
