GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I believe my best experiences were during my time in the Canyon High School Soaring Pride Band. Band gave me a sense of community in school and taught us importance of being a part of a team and hard work.

I would like to see the school culture change. Overall it is very close to cliche within different groups. A lot of students are somewhat nice but I feel like the culture could change more. Teachers are respectful for the most part but still, things can always change.

From the most superficial observations, the school is just pretty. It is a very nice environment visually to spend your day. Classes have not been challenging in the least. Great band and arts program. Heavy funding emphasis on sports. Students can be clique-y. In general, poor academics. Limited languages and extra classes. Very easy going atmosphere for better or worse.

The rude lady at the front desk needs to be reprimanded for the way she interacts with parents and students.

This is an awesome school and they bend over backwards to help all the kids and especially the ones with problems. Their learning system is a great one and they work to help the kids to learn and ne be about only sports like lots of small schools. They focus on education more than sports and I like...
