GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Good School, lacks in some opportunities larger schools have but is fine otherwise. Great teachers who engage with their students well. The selection of extracurricular activities is really the only downside. Our Choir, band, and sports teams are actually decent for their size and limitations, thanks to great teachers and coaches.

Capitan High is a small school with a family feel. Staff are interested in students education, well being and want them to succeed. Parents are actively in involved and staff encourage them to be. Administration and staff strive for students to be prepared for life after high school. The school spirit among students at sporting events is outstanding and positive. It is a great place for students to attend and be prepared for their future.

Capitan High School is a very small school with a close knit community. The teachers know all the students individually and will help them if they are struggling. The counselor is very helpful when you need help with college stuff or just regular class stuff. The staff keep the school clean and safe and it's a great environment to get a good education. The teachers know what they are teaching.

As a former student's parent, my review of this High School is an awesome place to Learn and Grow. The staff and students here made us welcome, as we were from out of state. My children adjusted well, and I owe it to the staff and students. This is a top notch school. We may return, we pray, and con...
