GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Being at Central High for 4 years has been a wild roller coaster.I have had ups and downs.I met people and lost people throughout the process of high school. One of the best years in high school was my 10th grade year.I can say it was a bunch of school spirt and many activities to do.Central is a hidden school and not mentioned for its excellent sports program.I have been on the dance team called "Central Sensations" for all years old high school.I can say dance has taught me a lot, such s friendships, relationships, being social, and many more.

I think central is it OK school experience in situ is that some of my teachers care about what we do and they like to help us out so that's what I like about because it's helpful with some of the teachers when you're feeling down some of the teachers a check on you and they're there for you

Though the school is on the smaller side, a part of me enjoyed that there wasn't that many students.

This is a great school with great faculty. Gets a bad rap like everything in Prince George's County. I have many acquaintances who graduated from this school. They have wonderful professional careers now.

I have just graduate from Central although I am not going to college Central has given me the tools I need to go out in the real world. My GPA was a 3.625 and without the help of the staff that would not have been possible. GO CLASS OF 2011!!
