Carden Conservatory is a highly rated private non-sectarian school located at 5702 Clark Dr., in the city of Huntington Beach. The school enrolls approximately 113 students and serves preschool and kindergarten through eighth grade. Carden Conservatory is a unique school boasting an advanced curriculum program for all students beginning in kindergarten which accelerates student’s progress creating verifiable results as students at the Conservatory consistently score two to five years above their own grade level in statewide and national testing. With core subjects in reading, writing, mathematics and science, Carden Conservatory nurtures the whole child and offers daily experiences in music, art, foreign languages and physical education, including a yoga class. The Conservatory offers an art program providing periods of instruction and self-expression. In the music program, students are introduced to the works of Mozart and Beethoven and draw upon the inspiration of classical music and beyond. The school offers additional classes in drama and Spanish and features a host of enrichment classes such as cooking, bowling, kayaking, paddle boarding and golf. An afterschool homework club meets daily in a classroom where a teacher is present to assist students with homework. Classrooms feature Smartboards and small class settings create an opportunity for individual assistance.

This is the BEST school you could ever hope to send your child to. The classes are small, the teachers really care, the parents are involved, and the academics are one to two years ahead of public school. We left California and we miss Carden Conservatory. It is a wonderful school that my kids have been attending since preschool. They are now in junior high and love their friends, teachers and school. It is a cozy family oriented school with small classes that give kids one on one education.
