The best thing about La Costa Canyon is how many options there are to be involved with the school, whether you are athletic or not. The worst parts of my experience are some of the facilities, as some are very old and dingy. I would like students to be more open-minded to new friends and for newer bathrooms and locker rooms.

Overall a nice school that feels safe to attend. Due to the large size of the school it is difficult for transfer students. I have only had positive interactions with teachers despite the larger class size.

I have had an incredible experience at La Costa Canyon for the last four years. One of my favorite parts about the school is their teachers and faculty members. In almost every class I've been in, the teacher is always looking to make your year better. No matter what, there is always someone on campus for you to talk to and make you feel safe. I would say that the worst part of my experience was the skill gap in sports. La Costa Canyon is D1 in almost all of their sports, which made it hard to get good playing time with so many talented athletes around me.

If you can afford a private tutor and attorney great option. Program for one type of student - entitled college driven. Otherwise an outcast, drugs in bathrooms and parking lots but staff and coaches don’t look the other way unless you are part of the elite. Covid days were a joke- teachers saying “...
