GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Carlsbad High School has been a great place for me to grow into the young adult I'm becoming. I've made great long-lasting friendships at CHS. I've created special bonds with teachers, seeing them as role models and leaders in my community. This school has done great things for me academically, athletically, and even mentally making sure I'm always doing good in life. I'm happy to call CHS my high school.

Carlsbad High School is a very large campus including many different buildings. These buildings allow the school to branch the different class options available. My school has provided many vigorous courses as well as dual credit classes with the opportunity to even begin taking college courses at our local community college. This has allowed me the ability to get ahead start on my courses which has allowed me to better my education. For something to change I feel teachers need to get better on interacting with students.

It was not only fun but educational seeing as it is a school lol. In all seriousness I've never had as much fun as I have in school till I got to the high school. I've created friends and even more family members during sports or club activities. I graduated in may 2023 so I no longer go but one thing I do know is how my graduating class had cheered to keep the graduation going after it started raining and last minute decided to keep it in the rain. It was not only my favorite part of high school but it was a feeling of euphoria and Friday night lights all at once.

Bad, nobody learns anything properly and has to deal with it along with the bad kids around you, the teachers aren't any better, and they expect you to only learn from a computer.
