While the school is definitely great in academics, some teachers just aren't good for kids who need accommodations. I have Adhd and it is pretty bad. I do not have accommodations due to the school refusing. Last year I was suffering in a class and the teacher just told my dad that I needed to learn to be more responsible. There are some great teachers though. They have been helping me a lot with some stuff.

As a transfer from a different, private school, I was enamored by the larger size of Carmel high. The school was able to retain a safe feel while also promoting healthy social lives and taking risks. I loved the competitiveness of sports and the connections I made with my peers and teachers

Carmel High has had a few issues that have needed to be changed over the past few years, such as failure to report life-altering misconduct, problems with LGBTQIA+ support, as well as a few less-than-ethical remarks and decisions regarding race and gender identity, which are things I'd like to see changed, though the school overall has great classes, perhaps too AP focused, but a rigorous learning environment.

Overall, fantastic school! While I agree that the math department and administration could use some tweaks, but most of the teachers and support staff are amazing! My son is loving school and is super engaged because everyone cares so much about the kids.

Mortified. There are many kids attending who don’t even live in the district. Administration is aware of this and still let these kids attend. I provided a medical note for my injured child wherein the doctor requested that she be given a parking pass so that she is close to the school building and...
