GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers were very easy to talk to if you needed help. The welcoming committee was very nice, they only showed the new students their classes and didn't explain where everything was so it was a little harder to find other things.

This school seems to have many teachers that care about its students and their education. The Carthage senior high school also has many different clubs and activities for the many different cultures residing in the school. This school also takes in foreign exchange students from all over the world as well as people with different needs. I personally even have a friend with autism that fits right in with the school and its people. The staff is normally always ready to help if you have a question both in classes and when it comes to applying for colleges.

The school refuses to do anything to help our child. We have contacted our child's teacher and guidance counselor for extra support. This rural has very low standards for success and inadequate support for those seeking to help their children. Parent involvement in academics is strongly discouraged.
