Cascade Elementary is a great public school. The classes are small, more one on one time for the students. Teachers and staff are on a first-name basis with parents, and communicate well. I love Cascade, it is truly a great school and a great environment. The teachers are amazing and sweet. However, my son is a Kindergartener there and I am so disappointed with the student to teacher ratio. 28 kids to one teacher with no aide is unbelievable. The county rezoned many of the Smithsburg...

I love this school, I went there as a child and now my kid's attend this school one in 2nd grade and one in kindergarten, the classes are small most all the teachers are great and personable, vicki the secretary is a wonderful woman, and they are very community oriented, I wouldn't take my kids out...
