GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best part about my high school experience is that the teachers are very supportive with their students, and they ensure they will succeed in the future. The worst part of my high school is the on-going construction 24/7.

My experience at Central Hardin High School has definitely been different compared to the other 2 high schools I've attended too. I do have good comments about the school's dedication to sports and school spirit as it does make High school more experience able , and they do offer more education opportunity's within the school. However since of the wide number of students that go to this school it's hard to fit in and even be noticeable. I do feel misheard sometimes when talking to staff and they could do a better job at being involved with the students and not just the ones that have a light shined on them.

I would say the worst part of Central is the lack of support for the arts. We have a drama club but even it is kind of lacking in school involvement. The best part is there are teachers who you feel like you can trust and talk to about things if you have problems. I would like to see Central have a more school-wide involvement and support for the arts instead of mainly focusing on sports.
