Despite the fact that I'm only a freshman and I take one class a day at the high school, I think the overall experience is pretty good. But, there are some cons about Cedar Falls High School. For example, the classrooms each have a wall made of windows (Without curtains) facing the hallway, and the locks on the classrooms doors don't work. (At least in the classroom I'm in) And in the event of an emergency I don't think I would feel very safe. Luckily I haven't been in that situation before. Another con about Cedar Falls High School is the fact the the walls are peeling away. The new Cedar Falls High school was only built two years ago, with additions still being built today. Now lets focus on the pros, one pro is the fact that you are able to retake most graded tests/projects if you have failed or your grade is not satisfactory. I'm running out of characters so I'm going to wrap this up by saying the school is a really diverse and great place but the security could be better.

I feel as though I've had a good time in this school, with good opportunities and good teachers. I think there is always room for improvements. I'm grateful to be in a school with such good funding. I just wish the college prep was better. There is also very little diversity in the school.

Overall this school is pretty nice, we just got a new building. Most of the teachers are pretty nice and the English teachers are hilarious. With the sports team, most are average. Most of the sports coaches are not the nicest.

Horrible school honestly don’t accommodate they are disrespectful. This school isn’t helping anyone. I have heard multiple bad things about this school.

Overall, it was an always safe environment, with a passionate staff of educators. Infrastructure wise, it shows its age.

Both my daughter and I went there because it is the best school district in the state of Iowa.

We moved here from a small town full service high school. Peers groups are better, teacher quality is roughly the same and administration and support are rigid, unfriendly, uncoordinated and difficult. If you need any accommodations, plan for a battle and hope for the best.
