Great Lakes Adventist Academy me was a home away from home. The boarding academy experience differently help me settle into college a little easier as I was already used to living away from home. The staff there are great and they treat you as if you are their own kids. Going to GLAA is like being part of one big family

I had a great experience while attending Great Lakes Adventist Academy. When I first arrived there I didn't know anybody, but that didn't last long. Everyone was very nice and welcoming, which created a family type atmosphere. Attending there provided me with many opportunities that allowed me to grow and experience things I wouldn't have been able to otherwise. I am very happy and thankful I was able to attend there throughout my high school years.

I would rate it as better than we ever could have expected. We weren't quite sure what to expect with a boarding academy experience but it has been nothing less than excellent. There is no perfect place, but the administration here does a fantastic job. It's a great school!
