Wash is a great place to go as it's ranked in the country on an academic level and it has a usually winning sports team, the staff is amazing also. But there are going to be changes put where the Cedar Rapids school district becomes an academy where there splitting up the schools by career choice. If it goes right it's gonna be amazing, if not then it's gonna be horrible

This school is very average, nothing really good or really bad about it. The teachers are nice, the curriculum is very unique, and the staff are very friendly. However, the students are a little extreme. FIghts happen fairly often, but they are immediately stopped. The cafe food is very average, but there is a wide variety of drink options. Overall, this school is just a very stereotypical high school.

Being involved with the orchestra was one of the best parts of my high school career. I was able to meet other students and feel connected within a larger school like Wash.

Not a safe environment for those with learning disabilities. They are placed with those with behavior problems with only creates an even worse learning environment for those with L.D.

There are some students who have attendance problems and their absences do hurt their scores and graduation rates. But for children who show up every day you have great...

Fabulous! My kids went on to highly selective colleges and felt well prepared and also had a great time in all the quality extra-curriculars-- got to do a little of everything! Coaches and drama/show choir folks work together so students don't have to choose just one thing.

Above average curriculum for advanced students. So many language choices! Wonderful Chorus and vocal programs. Diverse student body advantage.
