While spending 2 years at Centennial High School it was eventful and full of fun memories. As it relates to academics it wasn't as advanced as my previous school North High School located in Downers Grove Illinois. I went to North for my first 2 years of high school then finishing high school in Centennial High School. Going to North High School was harder but loved to experience both of them.

Some classes are very educational but others can sometimes lack the needed enthusiasm from the teachers which consequently affects the students' behaviors. The school is rather small for the amount of students it contains. Some of the policies are a little overbearing but the security is very good.

Centennial is an amazing and academically-stimulated school. FISD, itself, has given Centennial students several opportunities to be curious and stay experienced. However, unfortunately, Centennial also has very unhealthy competition and the school's students discourage taking any classes other than AP, which leads to stress and anxiety.

These teachers that demotivate kids, ding their scores for trivial things ultimately lowering GPAs of kids aspiring for good colleges. This school rankings are high due to st...

Vindictive and emotional approach to students. Not accessed objectively. Teen angers are expected to behave like elementary school students.

My son was a freshman and will be a sophomore this year. The teachers(most) are amazing(1) not the best, but that’s going to happen, especially when the teacher is also a coach. The staff does return emails and is good at responding. The counselor my son has seems to actually care. There were some s...
