Paid so much taxes for this district and I am still teaching my daughter more than Center ever did. She graduated without knowing what the Bill of Rights are, and you should learn that in middle school at least. That's just a very small example of what is going on at the high school.

Overall, Center High School has been a good school. When it comes to academics, the teachers make sure their students are on top of their work. They give multiple opportunities to students to help them become successful.

I'm a quote, "good kid" so my experience may be different than others, but it is honestly a pretty good school. We get a lot of flack compared to some of the "nicer" school...

Caring teachers and staff. Excellent counseling for future beyond high school. Great community support and involvement. Small teacher to student ratio. Highest paid and best educated teachers in the state of MO.

I have one child left at Center High School. While there are a number of excellent teachers, administration is so bad that it keeps parents away from crucial involvement. I've spoken to many families who have left Center due to the ineptitude of Center's administration and the flagrant ignoring of p...

My School is Center High School. A hidden gem in South Kansas City. They are their own district and not only fully accredited, but also a 2012 Missouri Gold Star School of Excellence. The district is the right size for the staff to get to know families and help them through their entire school caree...
