My experience at the Central Islip Highschool is going well. I enjoy how hardworking the teachers are the improve the students education. My experience with teachers was very positive. The only negative thing i've experienced in school is the anger that the students carry in the hall. There has been countless of fights since i've been attempting C.I. and i just hope that the administration can work harder to prevent the students from being bullied, harassed, and fighting.

My school doesn't have as many resources as I'd like when trying to prepare myself for college such as a lack of STEM related AP courses or activities. The school doesn't provide classes like AP Calculus or AP Physics II that i feel would help prepare me to pursue an engineering degree.

It's a good school overall sports need to be better coaches look to more old school ways which is the reason it doesn't do so well and teachers are some of the best in terms of classroom and food isn't the best in the cafe unless it's the nuggets or from the small little school store

The community-this is a community of people from more than 100 nations-its a beautiful fabric. That fact has always been overlooked, and will continue to be overlooked because at the end of the day, families have major concerns about educating their children, and the quality of that education. If yo...

This is one of the worst schools on Long Island, hands down. The administration as well as the school staff in the main office and guidance are unwelcoming and cold and talk down to the students and their parents on a regular basis. They operate in a very punitive manner and are quick to suspend kid...

Overall a great school. Music department is phenomenal, but favoritism plays a huge role especially, in the Concert Choir. Stay busy with extracurricular activities and you'll be fine. Many seniors are going off to Ivy league schools. (i.e. Harvard,Yale) As long as you hang with the right crowds you...
