Chalmette isn't a bad high school, but it has many problems, such as counselors and social workers brushing off mental health. They are also not clear on certain rules, and their food quality is lower than average. As for the good, they have a lot of school spirit and unique classes, such as horticulture. If you have problems with your mental health, however, I'd recommend going somewhere else.

My 4 years at Chalmette high school has taught me a lot and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I met a lot of people who taught me about myself. Over the past four years I have changed tremendously and things I thought were important are no longer apart of me.

The staff was absolutely no help to us. In fact my daughter, approached the school social worker for help a...

My granddaughter graduated from Chalmette High School and prepared her for college. The school has always kept up with the progress of her and my daughter now has her other daughter in the 9th. My granddaughters speak highly of the school.
