Established in 1969, Chaminade College Prep School Middle School is a private school featuring a Marianist Catholic education for students in sixth through eighth grades. Located at 10210 Oakdale Avenue, the mission of Chaminade College Prep School is to transform the community by providing students with a quality education, which includes faith and the service of justice, peace and integrity in daily living.
The school was founded by The Marianists, a group of Catholic men who carry forward the Marianists traditions through the sponsorship of secondary schools, universities, retreat centers and Catholic parishes. Chaminade College Prep Middle School is part of the Marianist's portfolio.
Teachers collaborate with students and the curriculum is dispensed through project-based learning and one-on-one tablet technology. Chaminade College Prep provides a rigorous curriculum highlighting core classes in English, math, science, history and religion. The school boasts an extensive offering in the arts featuring studio art, film, dance, digital design, instrumental and chorus music.
Athletics are an important part of the school’s holistic education and students are encouraged to participate to learn teamwork, responsibility, and to develop skills. The athletics department holds four state titles and 21 state championships in a variety of sports including fencing, softball and baseball. The school also sponsors an equestrian team.

Not worth the $$$. My child had a negative experience here. A lot of the students are spoiled and cliquey. Teachers are ok, but administrators play favorites and are not equitable in their treatment of students. It seems wealthier families and their children are treated better. Would not recommend.

Amazing school community.Big enough that there are so many opportunities for students to explore all their interests, small enough that it really feels like a small community .Great academics but what really sets it aside is a focus on character traits that guides your child into being a good person...

My daughter loves Chaminade! The teachers, the principal Mr. Valentine and all the staff are wonderful. The school spirit is beyond amazing.
