The best part about Chapel Hill High is the strong community shared between both the staff and the students. The student body leads most events, while the staff members contribute and aid in organization.

The school was recently renovated and has amazing facilities. There are also very good teachers and plenty of opportunities to gain work experience / skills. The worst parts are the administration, which sometimes does not agree with the school community.

It’s a shame most reviews here are so outdated. The principal described in the old reviews is long gone. Her replacement, Mr. Blanchard, was a fabulous principal who was admired and respected by students, teachers, and parents. Unfortunately for us, he retired this year. The district is engaged in a...

These past reviews about the principal are outdated. The former principal / bully left in 2017. The new principal is great. He is enthusiastic, transparent, creative and involved. He has sheparded the school through being torn down and a new one built, which all happened during the pandemic. CHHS no...

This principal is a bully, hates kids, treats my child's teacher poorly and hides in her office. Send her back to Ann Arbor where she came from. She has turned this school upside down and has destroyed the morale in the building. She uses scare tactics to get what she wants and parents are fed up wi...

The principal runs the school as though it were a prison. Her response to my complaint about the mishandling of an issue was to have an assistant principal follow my son from class to class and sit in on the classes in an effort to intimidate him.
