I enjoyed my time at pollard, overall the teachers I had were good, I enjoyed my classes and the after school activities were good. While it is still a public middle school, it's probably one of the, if not the best middle school in the district for what you are going to get. The kids there can be a bit stuck up and annoying, but your going to find that basically anywhere you go.

My daughter is at the end of her 7th grade year and has had a wonderful experience. She has had terrific teachers and enjoyed the music and theater programs. The other students I have met are academically motivated and well behaved. We have been very impressed with Margaret B. Pollard.

Moved to this area looking for diversity and strong academics being that it’s very close to both UNC and Duke- got neither of these things. Feel like the district is stuck in pre-1960 with racism running rampant. Only people of color working in the school are janitors and teachers aides- come on Cha...
