Charleston High School was a decent school for the most part. I liked some of my classes and the teachers but not all of them. We are a small town so our school isn't that big I actually had a small graduating class. We had a good counselor my 10/11 grade year but then had a different one who didn't really help us with finding college information my senior year. I feel like having a good counselor is important for students. We had football/basketball/baseball and volleyball and past few or so years got an archery team. We had cheer and dance but didn't have any boys on the teams and I think they should have pushed more for that. I played basketball and volleyball and I can say the volleyball team needed a volleyball teacher who actually went to college and played the sport. I think that would have made a huge difference. Offering more activities/sports and more classes at Charleston would make a better school. Hire new teachers that want to teach too.

The teachers were very involved and the school offered many good programs, including college credit courses.

Charleston is a great community with great schools all around. The schools are small with relatively low class sizes and quality educators. Their athletic and music programs are excellent.
