James Island Charter High School is pretty much a typical high school atmosphere. This school while having a large number of students has teachers and stuff that make sure you have your own personal experience and any aid in classes or social settings in school that you could need. There are security measures in place to both keep and allow students and staff to feel safe along with programs encouraging students to anonymously report anything you made need to.

My overall experience at James Island Charter High School has been good. I have taken all honors and AP courses and I have felt challenged in most of my classes. There are many clubs to join as well as sports team and other activities to fit what you like the most.

Good School over all, been here for four years and the teachers are great. They have done a good job fixing up broken and run down facilities in recent months.

James island charter high was a great school awhile back but so far they have fell off there a game the school become cancer for my kids the new principle is horrible and most of the teachers teach on favorites school is trash now just build on outside looks school has no good education structure

I am not at all satisfied with the fact that James Island Charter High School has chosen not to allow students to benefit from the South Carolina Virtual School Program.
