I would love to change the food we get, and sometimes not everyone gets what we want and what we need.

Throughout my time as Sissonville High School I have made many memories. The staff, faculty, and students are some of the best people I have ever met. The school is such a great environment. There is little to no violence and is 100% a safe learning space. Sissonville High School is the best school I have ever attended.

Every school has its ups and downs, but this school has mainly positives. The staff are considerate no matter their position, the students are kind to one another, transfer students from other countries seem to do very well here, and sports are a very big part of the community (especially football). The student body and staff work as a professional family and tensions are very low. As long as the student is kind to others and obeys a majority of the rules, there isn't any problem. The only reason that I don't give this school all five stars is that in certain situations, things could've been handled better. Of course I don't know details of those situations, but some did involve police due to car accidents (which wasn't a student's fault) and other small things that seemed to come out of nowhere. These are rare though and overall this school is wonderful and my four years as a student there have been great.

I've moved to TN and am still very proud of my WV roots. I just heard where SHS has decided to change a policy of praying before ballgames: don't do it, please! Don't be bullied nor scared into changing a choice to pray for safety and sportsmanship for the youth at your school. What does that hurt?...
