GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Chelsea High School is in no way perfect but in reality nothing is. There are not many academically included kids although the 5 or so that are, are amazing me being 4th of 60. The teachers are also not the best, you can really tell they don't enjoy there job and rather be home. They constantly complain about there jobs and life's. To me this is all normal, it's all I know as i,ve home to this school all my life. I truly believe I learn more on my own at home doing my own research than at school, that being said I am also unhappy with the fact that they only have one advanced class which is triganomatry I would like a wider range of these classes as I'm into science and engineering. As I stated before though this is all I,'ve ever see in a school and were pretty small around 200 at the most (in school) close to 2000 in town. this will conclude my review and I hope I may be considered for this scholarship as it would greatly help me in my future idevers and dreams, thank you.

My experience at this school has been amazing. I like that it is easy for students to become involved in sports and organizations. I have loved cheering for this school. I like being able to smile and cheer in my team. I like that the organizations are son involves in the school. For example the organizations have dodge ball tournaments, talent shows, dress up weeks, and assembly's that being attention to important information.

The school is not the best but it is a small school they do not have a lot of funding from the state. It is overall my favorite school out of any school that I’ve went to. There is barely drama in the Highschool. The teachers interact with their students and try to provide them with the help they ne...

The learning ciriculum is extremely behind and teachers do not interact with their students to help with critical thinking skills.

I feel some of the teachers at this school do not want the child to succeed. Also if you are not popular and your family is not well known or on the school board/school staff your child will probably not go far in sports at this school.

As a former athlete, who attended CHS. I have to say....the people who don't back the sports program know nothing about their kids. I was a troublemaker, and cared nothing about school, sports, family or anything for that matter. The football program (even when we were crappy) was the most beneficia...
