Cheney High School is still trying to find it's identity. It free too fast, too quickly, and still operates likes a small rural school. In real, it's a large school in an urban region. It needs to move into its new reality and regain a competitive (or even just comparable) academic edge. In addition, it really needs to review its policies and procedures to ensure they make equitable sense and can be a realistic precedent.

I have had an unusual high school experience. My freshman year was spent online, and my junior and now senior years have been mostly spent taking classes from Eastern Washington University. As a result, I cannot speak on many aspects of the school. What I have experienced in Running Start and help from staff has been helpful.

My experience at Cheney high school is an ok experience. I had ups and downs with the school but overall it's a good school. I do wish the school cared more about colored students and cared more about students safety. I do like the clubs they have at the school and I'm especially fond of the art club and skills USA my favorite thing from the school. There's many things I wish the school could be changed but for now this school is an ok school to go to.

The learning and classes are good. But the over all “high school experience” honestly kind of sucks. We have no school spirit and our themes or dances are lame and it makes you not want to come to games or activities. Overall, positive. They provide the tools for children to learn. Three kids through CHS, two college grads and one (senior at Cheney) on the way!

Teachers don't teach with excitement, which make student bored and not wanting to learn anything. That's why so many fail. Look into other schools there's a higher chance of graduation that CHS.

I have never had a worse experience with a school. It is flawed in so many ways, the education sucks all the students are unwelcoming, rude and disrespectful to eachother and the teachers. Many teachers do an awful job at teaching in one of my classes the teacher just tells us to learn it on youtube...
