I have been At Deep Creek High School for four years. During that time not one teacher would go along with my 504 plan to help me concentrate on my work. I have ADHD and it has been very challenging to say the least. My mother has been involved many times but they simply don't care. Quit sad in my view but I made it anyway. I am on track to graduate. The food is not great and could use some improvement. However the parking lot is very large which is nice.

The best part of Deep Creek High School is that once you attend, you are apart of the community for the rest of time. As they say, "Once a hornet, always a hornet". The worst aspect of the school was the dress code and the food. I would like to see the dress code be updated to represent equality.

Deep Creek High School was a very fun and interesting while also teaching me skills needed in the real world. The best part about it was meeting the different people that go there and learning about all the subjects. The worst part was the final exams because you had to remember everything you learned since the beginning of the year.

Deep Creek is a fantastic school despite being under funded and under appreciated. My daughter moved to Deep Creek when the bullying got bad at Great Bridge and no one would do anything about it. Both my children graduated from Deep Creek High school. Both participated in athletics and orchestra as well. One child chose the path through the Science and Medicine Academy ( and loved it!) Deep Creek has a high number of teachers that are alumni and I think it positively impacts their dedication to the students & the school. Our family has loved every part of Deep Creek high school from the coaches (shout out to the basketball program) to the administrators. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
