GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Most of the people are nice, a lot of the teachers are good, fun activities are always being planned, diverse, not very safe, bathrooms are pretty awful, vaping problem, great marching band, and most sports teams are doing really well

Half our bathroom stalls don't have locks anymore, half the time they're closed anyway, and last year something came out about there being a camera in the air vent in one of the girl's bathrooms that's used by a lot of sports teams, including the color guard (which i'm in) to change and get dressed for the sports events. we also had a bomb threat last year and they literally did a lap around the outside of the school and called it clear, so like big no no. That and the food is nasty, i've gotten expired milks and salsas, as well as pre-packaged and sealed foods that left the aftertaste of mold in my mouth and nose (nastyyyyy)So we definitely need more just general maintenance and safety upgraded in the school, cuz none of it is okay. but usually the kids are fine and teh teachers are nice, just like the actual building and food is junky in its respective areas.

As a military family, the school staff was very helpful. The teachers have been fantastic and the staff has been friendly. I love that my kids know what the administrators look like because the hang out with the kids at lunch and talk to them.

Wonderful school and very supportive staff. Teachers are welcoming, involved, professional and great with students. Loved the ease of communication, professionalism, and care with the IEP process and excellent support staff. We have now had 2 children attend GBHS with very positive experiences.
