I really loved my years through out of matoaca high. I learned multiple and new things as years went by. The teachers are very understanding and supportive of the students. I have actually learned things since starting as a freshman in 2021. I am now a senior and ready to graduate. It has taught me a lot and prepared me for adult hood and also college. I believe i can do this just as if the teachers told me and pushed me. The staff are so great here i really appreciate them too. Dr. Baber has been the best principle ever.

Overall, Matoaca is what you make it. There is a crowd for everyone, but teachers do not often go out of their way to do the best job teaching. A lot of my time here has been self taught, but with my friends and supplementary resources like Kahn Academy, I have been able to make my learning happen.

I overall believe it is a good school. There are some drug related issues and the enforcement of those rules are really bad. I think admin can do better with handling kids and discipline needs to be better.

Good offerings for advanced classes and extra curricular activiities. Many instructors encourage self learning for higher end level classes which promotes higher achievement standards.
