Very supportive of our son. His teachers and support staff have been accessible and excellent communicators. Our child has made great friends at Ancona and the parents are involved and communicative as well. Raising a child takes a village and Ancona helps form this village. Thanks Ancona.

We love it here. Ancona has a true community culture, everyone knows my child's name which I adore. She's in prek-3 and learns about so many topics that it's mind boggling. She tells me about the planets or different types of birds or flowers daily. They have adventures and plenty of field trips (especially in summer camp) to keep all the creative juices flowing. Most of all, the encourage self advocacy and independence which are exceptional habits to cultivate...

Our son is in kindergarten this year, his first year at Ancona, and we could not be happier. Most importantly, HE could not be happier. He is absolutely thriving in the Montessori environment. With Covid continuing to throw everyone for a loop, we have been grateful for the clear and thoughtful communication we are receiving from Leadership and staff and the excellent school nurse. Prior to Ancona, when we would ask him about his day would get a "Good, but I don't remember what I did." Each day he comes home from Ancona, he is brimming with excitement about what he did during the day, whether it was learning about cranberry bogs (I swear he spoke about this for 25 minutes without stopping), checking out his weekly library book, playing "Detective" in movement class, cooking... every single even mundane thing makes him excited. It has been a joy to watch. We look forward to getting to know the community of parents better after Covid, but those we have met thus far are so welcoming.

Ancona is an incredible, loving, caring community and a great place for a child to learn and grow. The teachers meet children where they are and have a sharp eye for their needs, and are ready with a wide variety of strategies to help them thrive.Academically, Ancona leverages is resources to create...

We have been an Ancona family for many years but will be leaving due to the new leadership. The interim head of school has shown a pattern of bullying families including unilateral decisions making, disciplining students unreasonably, dismissing parental concerns, and engaging in passive aggressive...

The teachers and support staff are excellent. The campus is beautiful and conveniently located. However, the administration (particularly the school lead) is failing the community. There is a clear communication breakdown on campus. No one greets the students in the morning and they enter into a bla...

It can be easy to love your school in the best of times, when resources are plentiful, schedules are predictable, and systems are operating from positions of comfort and strength. But what I have come to appreciate throughout this extraordinarily difficult year is how important it is to choose a sch...
