Avondale-Logandale Middle serves 584 students in pre-kindergarten through eighth grade at 3212 W. Fourteen percent of Avondale-Logandale's students are proficient in reading. Seventeen percent tested at or above proficiency levels in math, and Avondale-Logandale was recognized with an Exceeding National Growth in Reading and Math honor. As one of Logan Square's largest schools, Avondale-Logandale is equipped with a music room, art studio, auditorium, soccer field and two educational buildings. Students are encouraged to pursue physical fitness through basketball, flag football, volleyball and yoga and the Avondale-Logandale "Tigers" were the Network 4 champions for girls' volleyball. Committed to developing the whole child, Avondale-Logandale Middle School's athletic and enrichment programs contribute to the overall social and cultural well-being of its student body. Ranked the 235th best public elementary school and 225th best public middle school in Chicago by U.S. News and World Report, Avondale-Logandale Middle continues to support a rigorous commitment to academic excellence and personal growth.

Students are loud and cant be calmed down by the teachers, the bathrooms are disgusting, the food is also disgusting, and the teachers never care about you until you stop turning in work.

This is one of the worst schooly son was being bullied and would cry to go and they did nothing also he has a disability and he needs an assistant to be w him all time but nothing by far the worst ever and the principal should be replaced the only helpful one is ms.avila she’s amazing
