GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I transferred to Bowen Highschool my sophomore year from perspectives high school. When I came the support system and the environment was welcoming. I had honor classes and was later taken out because "I wasn't in honor classes at perspectives" but they seen that on my transcripts. Bowen is a support system I wouldn't say I'm the biggest fan of it academically

What I don't like about my school has to be that I don't get treated like a number I asked you know my teachers and know everybody I'm in class with. It's somewhere where I really learn how to be a person and not just be taken for granted. It feels amazing to be in a tight-knit community like I have in my school. But one of the changes I would love to see it's for us to get more resource. In my school, we tend to lack resources to better and more effectively teach the students. So where better resources I would see an increase in student productivity and output.

Bowen was like a second home to me the teachers and faculty treated me like their own family . Most days I was the last student there because I loved being in old in there after school programs . Being able to go to bowen helped me to realize my full potential and come out of my shell. I always had someone to talk to there every one always went above and beyond for the students .
