I transferred to Devry for my last two years of high school. The school gave me an amazing opportunity to take college classes and AP high school classes at the same time. Honestly, it was a struggle to get used to but overtime, I became more responsible managing my time with school and extracurriculars.

Devry Advantage Academy is a really attentive school. It's quite small so it's hard for anyone or anything to be overlooked. The staff are great and loads of help from the principals to the security. I love it!

The High school is joined with the university to get an associate's degree when you graduate high school. It is a Chicago public school meaning the program is free. There are not many students that go here, students having to test into the school. The worst part students may find is the transportation to the school. It can be a big adjustment coming from maybe a neighborhood school.

As a pilot program it is indicative of the standard CPS schools, but somehow it has been able to overcome the CPS beuracracy and engage it students. In the end, this is what ALL schools should be, advance training, a push towards excellence and fast becoming one of the top High Schools in Chicago.
