During my four years at Gary Comer College Prep, there have been many ups and downs in my experience. This comes from rules changing, poor teaching staff, unorganized school events, and much more. The people I've met along my four years are really the only positive parts of my experience while attending.

My experience of comer has been a roller coaster and also somewhat good. Freshman year was chill and very fun there was little to no discipline and it showed . But later on in the years the comer has gotten better with the rules ,structure and atmosphere.

Gary Comer College Prep has very rigorous coursework as well disciplinary system. They use a system of demerits and merits where 4 demerits equal a 3 hour detention on Fridays when most students are let out at 1:05pm.
