Harold Washington Elementary School is a dynamic and nuturing place for learning and support. The administration and staff really care about the students and seem to be supportive of staff.

This school isn't what it use to be, the new principal has lied and the kids are not in her best interest. The staff is very verbally emotionally mentally spiritually abusive to the kids, they curse at the kids, they have with held school work, the proper academics aren't being taught at this school...

If you have options let this school not be one. All teachers are great but the administration is horrible. Teachers are forced to do things that are unnecessary and in turn not helpful for the overall school or students in the long run. Many kids at the school are disrespectful to the adults that wo...

This school is fantastic it has a lot of programs that keep us out of trouble. I've been their all my life and haven't had a problem right now is my 8th grade year and i'm looking to graduate.
