My four years at Hyde Park Academy High School were truly enjoyable. Regretfully, it will come to an end in May 2024. I'm proud of myself because I worked extremely hard for me to be a top 10 student for four years. Lack of help for college-related matters was the worst aspect of the school. I was frequently forced to ask my own inquiries. Overall, I believe that Hyde Park was great, and I hope the incoming freshmen feel the same way.

The best part was during my sophomore year where my grades and teachers were the best. My art related classes are really and those teachers have help me the most. My worst experience was my recent class and the behavior of the students.

Hyde park academy is a good school even though there are a lot of pros and cons to going to Hyde park. I would definitely recommend all the students are welcoming but sometimes the teachers aren't as helpful as they need to be.

I have a special needs son who was assigned to this school by CPS Office of Diverse Learners. He has been physically abused by at least 2 different CPS aids. They were made aware of both incidents and nothing was done.

For so many under represented black youths in Chicago, Hyde Park is one of many schools that accepts them no matter what there background is.
