This is a decent school. They definitely prepare you for college on an educational level, but not so much on a social level. I do think that there could be improvements made to bring more students into the school and make the school more diverse. The biggest issue is the social standpoint which is a dent in the student's preparation for college.

I've attended Providence St. Mel School for 13 years, and I can honestly say I am very prepared for college, but I wish they'd put as much of an emphasis on female sports, healthy environments, mental health, and social networking, as much as they do with education, and boys basketball.

Providence St. Mel has a very rigorous academic program which prepares students for college. All of the teachers take their passion of teaching and show absolute care for their students individually.

They fired the teacher for speaking up about the questionable practices and policies the school has and didn’t inform parents until almost 72 hours later even though they knew th...

This is my first year at Providence St. Mel and so far its been going pretty good. There is not a lot of homework depending on your courses, but the grading scale is a bit different then your normal grading scale. The teachers really care about you and your learning environment so its a small mass o...

I went to PSM for high school and it wasn't all it's cracked up to be. I have no issue with discipline, rules, structure and high expectations, however the school took it to an unnecessary level. As hard as we worked there was no fun. This school was run with a prison style structure and it did noth...
