Named after Ronald Brown, the United States Secretary of Commerce under President Bill Clinton and former chair of the Democratic National Committee, Ronald Brown Academy has been open since 2005. Prekindergarten through eighth-grade students attending Ronald Brown Academy. The school is also part of the World Language Magnet Cluster. Ronald Brown Academy is on South Union Avenue in Chicago and has challenging math, science and literature curriculum. This academy is dedicated to establishing a united learning community capable of developing global citizens. Students develop mathematical, critical thinking and technology skills that help them solve real-world problems both independently and collaboratively. Athletics at Ronald Brown Academy include volleyball, cross country, basketball and cheerleading. Extracurricular activities focus on ballet and hip hop dance classes and karate. The school’s vibrant Saturday programs offer students scholastic support outside the classroom. At Ronald Brown Academy, the Eagles soar to success in pursuing their passions and potential.

Ronald Brown is a great school the teachers are there to increase our children minds, in ways that's necessary for their future to impact their learning skills to carry them into there next journey in life so they can be all that they can be.
