As a graduated student from Hampden Charter, over all the school was nice and I feel that because it was a charter school, it gave me a better chances of getting into colleges. There was a good about of AP programs that were available to take.

The best has to be the acknowledgment of achievements in this school which really motivates students as a whole. They plan a lot of school activities that brings the community together in a positive manner. The worst aspect however is the discipline system because of how unfair it really is. Teachers fall into these power roles and believe because of this little power that they can do whatever they want. Administration allows this to happen as well which is not ok.

Love the character school my husband graduated from a character school and are kids and the family are proud to be the next generation to go to a character school.

This is a great school! Graduating students go to top colleges with scholarship. This school is the best secret in Western Massachusetts.

Teachers are very supportive. Available for extra help if needed. This was a challenging year with virtual school but the teachers were great they kept the students involved and motivated. They offer many AP courses.

I fell for the numbers and ratings of this school..however I found out from the higher ups how they dismiss a lot of things in order to keep their ratings up. .that claim that there are no fights yet shool children claim that there are fights every day and teachers just walk away.
