My high school experience has not always been the greatest. After my favorite principal retired, my school went downhill. The school has been changed into an environment that is not fun for any student. While school should be a learning environment, kids should not hate going to school each day, and I believe that every student that attends this school hates going.

There is many things that I love about Chilhowie High School. First is the closeness of everyone. At Chilhowie we are like one big family, if someone has a loss we all do. My graduating class has always been close even in grade school I believe one thing that really helped that stay was that the teachers are good at treating us all the same. Chilhowie provides an outstanding teacher to student ratio and provides the appropriate amount of resources to the students to help in any way possible.

Overall I would rate my experience at this school very highly. The teachers are amazing at their jobs. They taught me very well and I've gained a lot of unexpected experience in not only the subject I was learning, but life lessons too.
