My opinion of Chino Valley Highschool is that it's a great school for any kid who wants to pursue a higher education in college because of the resources they give you to succeed and how the administration actually cares for you.

I'm only there for one year but there really isn't as much emphasis on the actual academic achievement. Like the attitudes and mindsets of a lot of the students are to do just enough to pass the class and graduate but they really don't care at all. Also people ditch all the time.

It was a pretty average high school experience. Not very good in preparing you for what college is like.

Personally it was bad. A counselor there made my school experience terrible and never seemed to cared about anything. The teachers there either love the job and are really passionate or they play favorites and stopping caring about anyone else in that class. Halfway through the year about 3 teachers...

Overall, Chino Valley High School is an amazing school. They adequately prepared me for college through JTED and dual enrollment. The only down side is that they don't offer AP classes. This is currently being worked on though because the administration is amazing!

Overall I would give this school a 4 out of 10. The education is mediocre at best, the staff is kind but not perfect in any way. Some students are very good, though some are troublesome.

Chino Valley High School DOES NOT HAVE accreditation. This cost their 2015 Valedictorian to LOOSE all of the scholarships he was offered. This young man had a 4.5 grade point average and he scored in the top 1% on all of his entrance examinations.
