Chisago Lakes is a small community school that is growing and has amazing teachers and students. One thing I would like to change is more opportunities to have more options for college courses.

Majority conservative students - which is completely fine except for the many times my queer friends were bullied and degraded for no reason. The teachers are majority good, but some are only there for the coaching position (which you can easily tell!). The counselors can be helpful, but be weary of potential bias regarding advice on choir/band and PSEO.

Going to Chisago Lakes high school was an amazing experience. I made friends that I will have forever and I met teachers that I will never forget. I learned many things that I know will stay with me and that will come in handy as I continue on my journey throughout life. I was involved in my school and appreciate the sacrifices staff and teachers have made to create the most amazing experience for their students. I will always miss high school and the memories it created for me and my classmates.

I have two children that are currently attending this school and have receieved a majority of their education in this school district. One of my children receives accommodations for a disablity and I have no problem with any of the staff. I feel like the staff is very supportive of both my children....

I would agree that if your child has learning struggles don't send your child here. I would disagree with the other reviewers, never felt the school wanted parent involvement, in fact I felt they discouraged parents involvement. If your a parent that wants to be part of the process don't expect them...
